Vicki Messinger's Bio My real name is Vicki Messinger, I lived in San Diego for 7 years and a few years ago moved back to my hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. I am a manager at a Holiday Inn Hotel. I was married for 16 years and my husband died in a car accident. That was 12 years ago. I have no art background at all. Everything I have learned has been self taught, originally from demo versions of anything I could get my hands on. It all started from wanting to make my own computer wallpapers. Once I started there was no stopping. As for Abstracts, I have always loved metal sculptures. Since I have no talent to create such beautiful objects this is the only way I can get close to satisfying myself. To me, logic is not important. I take random elements from the world and reorganize them until something new is born. I feel certain organizations of colors, materials, and forms can evoke a new set of feelings. Those are the feelings I strive for.
