Gordon Merrick is a good friend and a very talented and welcome addition to the Infinitee Designs Artist of the Month exhibits. Creating ultra fine wood work furniture, Mandala tables and finished rooms in rare wood venires . Gordon has been commissioned to design the woodworking for the interior of Mariah Carey and Tommy Mattolas residences.

 Gordon Merrick's Bio   My career as a woodworker began in 1973 doing early American pine furniture. Early on I was blessed to be mentored by Margaret Seeler, a renowned cloisone' artist and jeweler. Through my exposure to her and certain other mind altering influences I ventured into doing projects that others shunned, due to lack of knowledge or fear of losing money. The skills I have gained are from not shying away from things that I am not familiar with. I am self taught in regards to technique and style though Margaret influenced my design heavily. The one current that runs constant in Margarets teaching is that everything has been designed by a higher power, we as artisans just rearrange them.
