Michael Leadingham's Bio My name is Michael Leadingham. I was born at Lockbourne Air force base in Columbus Ohio. I have been drawing or painting my entire life. I have been featured in many art shows, and galleries including the Permian Basin Art Institute where I received the alternate Art scholarship from the state of Texas.

I currently reside in Las Vegas Nevada. I have been working with traditional mediums focusing on watercolor most of my life. I have only recently discovered digital as a medium in the last few years. Most of the time I work in Bryce, and do post work in Painter to give it more of a painterly feel. I try to paint places that I might like to visit while providing an emotional response from the viewer. I hope I have succeeded. People ask me all the time where I get most of my inspiration. I can get inspiration almost anywhere, films, a really good book almost anything.

I might see 2 children playing in the park. Most people would see just that 2 kids using a stick to play with a bug. But for me instead of 2 children I might see Sir John the Elven Prince doing battle with a glorious dragon to save his beautiful princess Guinevere. I feel we can all see inspiration if only we have the eyes to see.
