Uwe Jarling is a very talented and welcome addition to the Infinitee Designs Artist of the Month exhibits. Uwe's painting's are filled with light and life that draws you into his art and sends your imagination reeling. Uwe's style is the epitome of Sci-fi and Fantasy artwork and I am honored to have hids work displayed here.

Uwe Jarling's Bio A very short Bio :-)

I am a professional Illustrator and Graphic designer living and working in Germany. Right after receiving my diploma in Graphic design in 1991 (if I remember right) I started a freelance business as illustrator, doing mainly cover illustrations for videos and architectural and technical illustrations for advertising agencies.

In 2001, still doing all those movie cover illustrations and technical renderings using traditional media, mainly gouache on illustration-board, I felt my work went not in the direction as I wanted to. I always wanted to do fantasy paintings, but doing my freelance business I just didn’t have the time to do things like that. So, as said in 2001 I had a fulltime job offer from an advertising agency and I decided to give it a try.

Having this fulltime job my income was ensured, and it gave me the opportunity in my free time to do what I wanted to do all my life – FANTASY ART! Also I started to try my hands on digital painting, fell in love with all those incredible digital painting tools and today I rarely use traditional media anymore, most of my current work is created 2d digital.

Currently all my illustration work is in the fantasy field, personal work as well as commissioned work including book covers and artwork for collectable card games as well as album covers for heavy metal bands.

Last but not least I want to thank all who supported my work in such a beautiful way since I started to post my work online, thanks for each and every comment, message or e-mail.
