Valley Haven Massage & Yoga Center is owned and operated by my dear friend Nicol Moorgan. Nicol Moorgan has been a student of Iyengar yoga for over 20 years. She has studied at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune, India and currently studies with several local teachers including Barbara Fabbri, Janet MacLeod and Alice Rocky. She has studied extensively with Senior teachers Billy Konrad and Manouso Manos and several international teachers. Nicol is currently attending The Iyengar Institute of San Francisco in preparation for the rigorous National Iyengar assessment.

Additionally she has nearly 30 years experience as a neuromuscular therapist which makes her compassionate to the many challenges the body presents. Both a healer and teacher, Nicol believes Iyengar yoga is the road to unravel the physical obstacles that hinder us while creating a deeper awareness and balance in the body. Nicol shares her passion for detail and alignment in her teaching to bring clarity and understanding of the full potential asana practice can have, both therapeutically and emotionally.

Services include: Integrated deep tissue massage applied intuitively by the practitioner. Trigger point therapy involving deactivating trigger points that may cause local pain. Neuromuscular therapy, a soft tissue manual therapy. Chi Nei Tsang, an ancient form of detoxifying, energizing, abdominal massage and Reiki, a technique commonly called palm healing or hands-on-healing.
