Thorr Video Montage
Thorr Video Montage – An Autodesk Maya 3D model detailed with Zbrush turntable video of my first fully rigged character. The character is one of many from the Citadel 7 sci-fi book series by Yuan Jur http://www.citadel7online.com/. This has been a long time in the works and has come out much better than I imagined that it would. The primary tutorial that I followed to do the rigging was “Creating a Character Rig” By: Maya Learning Chanel. This model will be used to create board game figurines and multi-sized collectible merchandise statues. The next process in the project is to do is to create all the nodes for color, lighting and textures which is a art form in itself and then animating a martial arts style kata unique to the Scarzen… In other words, I will just be making one up as I go since I don’t know any katas and it would be very difficult to animate one accurately from a video.
Please keep in mind that this is my first fully rigged 3D character made with Autodesk Maya and detailed with Zbrush and my first time editing video with Adobe Premier. Yes, it is simple but is was fun!
